Buying an Affordable Home in Westmoreland County
Westmoreland Community Action (WCA) and Mon Valley Initiative (MVI) have helped hundreds of income eligible families realize the dream of home ownership. In partnership with the Westmoreland County Department of Planning and Development and local communities, WCA and MVI have worked to revitalize distressed neighborhoods by building beautiful new homes or by renovating and reconstructing older homes. Projects have crossed the county from Greensburg to Jeannette, Mount Pleasant, Claridge, Export, Latrobe, Monessen, New Kensington and Youngwood.
