Ramps & Chairlifts

Do you or someone you know have problems fully using their home? Perhaps they use a wheelchair and have difficulty leaving or gaining access to their house. Maybe it is hard to go up and down stairs within the house because of a physical disability.

The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Westmoreland (RACW) has funding available to install ramps or a stair lift in the home for those with permanent physical disabilities.

Assistance is available to eligible applicants who reside within Westmoreland County.

Interested people will need to fill out an application to determine eligibility. To complete the application you will need to provide financial information and documentation from a medical professional confirming a permanent disability.
